Supporters of Celtic have been reacting to a report which has emerged about Southampton attacker Mohamed Elyounoussi.
According to VG Sporten, a Norwegian outlet, the attacker will be returning to Parkhead on loan from the Saints again next season.
Aside from the Scottish Premiership outfit, there had also been interest from La Liga club Real Betis in acquiring the services of the 25-year-old winger.
However, as stated in the report, the player has now ‘made his choice’ and only ‘the last details remain’ before the loan switch for another season at Parkhead is announced.
After this report was shared to social media by journalist @arilasos, loads of Celtic supporters flocked to it to air their delight that the attacker would be returning.

Southampton secured the services of the player in the summer of 2018 for £16.2m from FC Basel. However, they loaned him to Celtic after just one season at St. Mary’s Stadium (per Transfermarkt).

During his season on loan at Celtic Park, Elyounoussi made 20 appearances in which he bagged an impressive seven goals and six assists (per Transfermarkt).
However, a foot injury left the £8.55m-rated attacker with a relatively lengthy spell on the sidelines (per Transfermarkt).
