West Brom’s official Twitter account recently posted a tweet featuring an image of The Hawthorns which has caught the attention of some Baggies fans who have been sharing how much they miss their club’s home ground in response to this post.
Baggies fans haven’t been able to enjoy a game of Championship football at their home ground since the 29th of February. This has been due to the current viral outbreak which forced professional football in England to a halt in March and it may not come as a surprise that this image of the club’s stadium has prompted some Baggies fans to respond to this post to share that they miss The Hawthorns.

What do we think?
The Baggies’ most recent Championship home game was a 1-0 loss to Wigan Athletic, which may not provide them with a positive memory of their last outing at The Hawthorns. However, despite that, it may be fair to say that the length of time that these Baggies fans have now had to endure without being able to watch a game of football at their club’s stadium has left them yearning for a return to the ground, which may be evident by how they’ve reacted to this post featuring a picture of the stadium.
