A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a tweet from NUFC 360, which includes a screenshot of Saudi Arabian TV showing an old Toon match.
The game in question was from December 1999 and was Newcastle’s 6-1 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur.
However, with Newcastle currently in the middle of a Saudi-backed takeover, this broadcast has got these Toon fans talking.
Are you pleased to see this?
Yes, hopefully gain some more fans
No, it means nothing

What do we think?
The deal for Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium to take Newcastle from Mike Ashley has been with the Premier League going through the required checks after a deposit was paid.
There was a tweet from John Richardson released on the 20th that suggested an announcement was imminent and also a report on an official Saudi Arabian news channel claiming that the Premier League had approved the takeover.
So, the takeover might be edging closer, and the fact that official Saudi Arabian state television is showing old Newcastle matches has certainly got these Toon fans talking.
