Some West Brom fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by the club’s official Twitter account which includes some footage showcasing ex-Baggies forward Diomansy Kamara’s “finest moments in an Albion shirt”.
As per Transfermarkt, Kamara joined the Baggies for a transfer fee of £2.03m in the summer of 2005 and remained a West Brom player for two years before departing from The Hawthorns to join Fulham for £8.10m in the summer of 2007.
Kamara played a total of 71 games during his time at The Hawthorns, scoring 24 goals while providing six assists in those games and this footage from West Brom’s official Twitter account has shared some of his most memorable attacking displays from his time as a Baggies player.

However, while some Baggies supporters have been reacting positively to this footage, other West Brom fans have been less enthusiastic about their former attacker.
One West Brom fan stated that Kamara should have stayed at the club longer, another criticised his level of effort, whilst another West Brom fan described Kamara as a “mercenary”.
He was at this level.
He was a mercenary too.— Chris (@Chris47121737) May 28, 2020
What ever happened to Kam…should have stayed longer

Could have been so much better though. his effort wasn’t always 100%………

In his first season at West Brom, the 2005/06 campaign, Kamara only scored one goal in 28 appearances for the Baggies in all competitions. West Brom were relegated from England’s top flight that term.
However, Kamara fared better in his second and final season at The Hawthorns, when he scored 23 goals and provided six assists in 43 games for the Baggies in all competitions.
It may not come as a surprise that there has been a mixed response to this footage of Kamara considering that while he enjoyed a positive run of form during his second season at The Hawthorns, he didn’t have a particularly impressive first season at the club in the Premier League, which may have contributed to the team being relegated that term.
