Sheffield Wednesday’s Morgan Fox caught the attention of plenty of Owls fans lately after he posted a tweet in response to another post from Wednesday’s official Twitter account sharing some footage from a recent Owls training session.
As per the club’s official website, Wednesday returned to their Middlewood Road training ground this past Monday for the first time since professional football was postponed in England back in March as their players took part in “phased group training”.
The Owls shared some footage of their players taking part in a running drill from this training session via a tweet in which they also revealed that Fox and Jacob Murphy “recorded the fastest time of all the groups on this run”. Fox then shared this post via a tweet of his own in which he also stated that he is “happy to be back”.

It’s amazing and brilliant to see a player turn from Zero to Hero. You’ve proved the keyboard warriors were wrong. Well done @MA_Fox.

Fox, who is currently valued at £720k by Transfermarkt, has earned an average match rating of 6.81/10 from his 26 Championship appearances for the Owls this season, according to WhoScored.
It may be fair to say that he has performed quite well in some areas for Wednesday this term, registering 2.1 tackles per Championship game, which is the fifth-highest of any Wednesday player, as well as having made 1.3 interceptions per Championship game, which is the joint-fourth highest of any Owls player in the league this term.
With that in mind, it may be understandable why some Owls fans may have been impressed by his performances of late and it might not be too surprising that some of them are happy to see Fox back in training.
