Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Phil Hay shares the results of the latest round of EFL testing regarding the current viral outbreak.
According to a tweet by Hay, 1,030 tests were carried out across the Championship, with the results showing that three players had tested positive for the virus at two separate clubs.
In reaction to the news, fans of Leeds flocked to have their say on the matter, with many guessing which clubs were the ones with positive test results.
Latest EFL coronavirus test results – 1030 tests across the Championship. Three positives tests from individuals at two clubs. #lufc

@RequestABet odds on both clubs being Derby & Hull please?

Hull City and Hull City U23?

Are two of those three the same two from Hull?

These Leeds fans appear to be suggesting, somewhat harshly, that Hull City could have potentially manipulated the testing of their players, as the Championship side, who are currently just two points outside of the relegation zone in 21st place, have previously called for the season to be declared null and void. Two individuals from the Tigers had tested positive for the virus in the previous round of testing.
However, it has since been reported by the BBC that the clubs which returned positive tests were actually Blackburn Rovers and Fulham.
Meanwhile, other Leeds fans have stated their belief that the news is extremely positive news for the Championship, and appear eager for the season to resume as soon as possible.
Do you think the current Championship season will resume?
Yes
No

0.29%. These figures are tiny.

That is brilliant news.

However, it looks as though one (sarcastic) fan wants the season to be voided.
Omg, we need to void immediately.

The fact that only three out of 1,030 players have returned a positive test is undoubtedly good news for Leeds, as the club currently sit top of the Championship table, and should the league get the green light to be resumed, are a maximum of nine games from potentially securing Premier League football for next season.
