A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a tweet from LUFCMOT that includes quotes from Patrick Bamford about Leeds.
The 26-year-old, speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post, said that he loves the club, the training ground, and the lads.
He also said that everything about Leeds is ‘perfect’ and that he would be ‘delighted’ to stay with the Whites for the ‘foreseeable future.’
This has drawn a reaction from many Leeds fans.
Do you want to see Bamford stay with Leeds for a long time?
Yes, I like him
No, he is not good enough
?? Bamford: "I don't think I've ever been at a club and been as settled in terms of the area, I'm close to my family, I love the club, the training ground, I love the lads. Everything about it is perfect. I'd be delighted to be here for the foreseeable future." #LUFC

Yes the lad needs to brush up on his finishing substantially, however, few if any, work harder than that lad FOR THE TEAM.
You only need look when he’s not played or went off late as a sub.
Suddenly, midfield and defence are under more pressure.
It’s not a coincidence.

I was convinced he really didn’t like being at Leeds ?

Certainly not good enough to be a starter in the prem unless he ups his conversion rate significantly

He’s just not a goal scorer it’s as simple as that, he’s a good lad but do you want a striker that chips in with a few goals and works hard or do you want someone who can bag, I know what I would prefer but not allowed to say it ?

I love your work rate Paddy but you need to find the back of the net more. ???

I’m a big fan of Bamford but he needs to sort his finishing out if he wants to stay here long term. I can deal with a season if terrible finishing but 3 or 4? Nah.

What do we think?
Bamford sounds happy and settled at Leeds, and even though some of these Whites fans think he needs to convert chances better, he is still Leeds’ top goalscorer this season with 13.
The former Middlesbrough man, who is valued at £5.85m by Transfermarkt, moved to Elland Road in the summer of 2018 in a deal worth up to £10m and he has gone on to make 63 appearances for Marcelo Bielsa’s men and has managed to score 23 times.
Judging by his comments, he wants this spell at Elland Road to go on for a bit longer yet.
