Former England number-one goalkeeper Joe Hart would be willing to take a pay-cut in order to join Leeds United this summer, according to Football Insider. The 33-year-old is yet to appear for Burnley in the Premier League this season.
Hart has made 340 appearances in the English top flight to date and could be a good option for Marcelo Bielsa’s side if Kiko Casilla quits the club this summer. Casilla was serving an eight-match ban after having been found guilty of racially abusing Charlton Athletic’s Jonathan Leko prior to the suspension of the Championship – casting doubts over his future.
Joe Hart’s contract at Burnley is set to expire at the end of June – so would the Elland Road faithful welcome the goalkeeper to their club this summer?

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that there is not much support for Leeds United to sign Joe Hart this summer. After leaving Manchester City, the goalkeeper spent some time with Torino on loan in Serie A before having a spell at West Ham United. In the summer of 2018, he joined Burnley on a permanent deal believed to be worth £3.51m, but it’s safe to say things haven’t necessarily worked out as he would have liked.
