A group of Leeds United supporters have been discussing the club’s update to season ticket holders and those who have purchased tickets for individual games (via leedsunited.com).
The post on the website details that the Whites are working on refund and club credit options for the remaining Championship fixtures and the Centenary game following the latest government announcement, before thanking the fans for their patience.
Leeds were scheduled to play five more fixtures at Elland Road against Fulham, Luton Town, Stoke City, Barnsley and Charlton Athletic (via leedsunited.com).
Here is how a sample of the fanbase have responded to the club’s update, shared via Twitter.
Keep it, or at least let people choose if they want a refund or not, most won’t but I guess those who need the money will take it back??

Keep my money. I’d sooner have a club than a 5 game refund

Would you be happy for the club to provide fans with club credit?
Yes
No
Please have a ‘keep the money’ option. I’d rather my Season Ticket money goes to the club. MOT.

What comments, what a fan base, what a club ??

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that the majority of these supporters would be happy for the club to keep their money if it helps them through these unprecedented times. The EFL remains suspended and we’re yet to learn if and how the season will be concluded. Marcelo Bielsa’s side currently sit top of the Championship and are closing in on a return to the Premier League for the first time since their relegation in 2004.
