A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a tweet from All Leeds HQ asking them to sum up David Hockaday’s spell as Leeds boss.
This drew a wide range of responses, but the overwhelming majority were negative for the former Whites boss.

Ridiculous. Not sure to this day why he was brought in.

IMO. The whole sorry episode was a result of Cellino’s incompetence at the end of the day. Cellino is the one who should be vilified not Hockaday.

A total disaster but not totally his fault.

This is a big call but the single most embarrassing moment in our 100 year history and not all his fault – he shouldn’t of been watching us never mind head coach –
Cellino was a lunatic— John McNamara?? (@jkmcnamara) May 18, 2020
What do we think?
Hockaday was brought in by Massimo Cellino and lasted six games before he was sacked and replaced by Neil Redfearn.
Do you blame Hockaday for his spell in charge?
Yes, he had an opportunity but blew it
No, he was hung out to dry
The 62-year-old previously managed Forest Green Rovers and was proven to be out of his depth at Leeds as he managed just two wins in six matches.
Some of the defeats were particularly embarrassing as the Whites lost 4-1 to Watford and 2-1 to Bradford City.
Although his spell was a disaster, many Leeds fans don’t blame Hockaday and feel that more of the blame lies with Cellino.
Hockaday then took a job with Kidderminster Harriers but that didn’t go too well either only lasting 11 matches – he has not managed a club since.
