Some Charlton Athletic fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Addicks-focused Twitter account @100PercentCafc which asks Charlton fans to rate Jonathan Leko’s time at the club this season out of 10.

Leko joined the Addicks on loan from their fellow Championship competitors West Brom in August 2019. The 21-year-old attacker made a total of 21 Championship appearances for the Addicks before his time at The Valley came to an end in January

This post about Leko has drawn some mixed reactions from Charlton fans. Many of the Addicks supporters who have been responding to this post have acknowledged Leko’s talent, while also admitting that the young attacker does still have some areas of improvement in his game, with one Addicks fan describing him as an “infuriating” player to watch.

Did Jonathan Leko improve during his time at Charlton Athletic?

YES, HE GOT BETTER

YES, HE GOT BETTER

NO, HE DIDN'T IMPROVE

NO, HE DIDN'T IMPROVE

What do we think?

Leko made a total of nine goal contributions in his 21 Championship games for Charlton this season, scoring five goals and providing four assists, as per WhoScored. Only three Addicks players have scored more league goals than Leko did for Charlton this term, while only Jonathan Williams managed to provide one more Championship assist than Leko did for the Addicks this season.

With that in mind, it may be understandable why some of these Charlton fans have been acknowledging the player’s positive qualities. However, considering that Leko is still a young player, at just 21-years-old, it may also be understandable why some Addicks fans may feel that he has still got some areas of his game to improve upon.
