Some Celtic fans have slammed Dorin Goian after he made some comments about the Parkhead-based club recently.
Goian was recently talking to the Scottish Sun about Ianis Hagi’s permanent move to Celtic’s Glasgow rivals. Goian said that Hagi can ‘help’ stop Celtic from winning their 10th Premiership title in a row and it ‘doesn’t matter’ that the Hoops have won the title in the last nine seasons in Scotland.
The Romanian claimed that Scottish football ‘needs’ a player like Hagi and hailed the abilities that he has.
Glasgow Live Sport relayed these quotes on Twitter. Many Celtic fans rushed to it and made their displeasure for Goian very clear.
That’s it started???

Hagi had initially joined Rangers on loan from Genk in the winter of 2020, but the move to Ibrox has now been made permanent.
As for Celtic, they signed two players in the January transfer window. They secured the signing of Patryk Klimala from Polish club Jagiellonia Bialystok. They also signed midfielder Ismaila Soro from Israeli club Bnei Yehuda (via Transfermarkt).
Celtic fans kept expressing their anger at Goian. Many of them mocked what he had to say.

Goian himself is a former Rangers player. He was at Rangers from 2011 to 2013 and that could be one big reason why Celtic fans don’t like him too much.
His comments don’t talk positively about the Hoops and challenge them to win a 10th Premiership title in a row. So in that sense, Celtic fans are bound to be angry at the former defender.
