Fans of Rangers have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which the club shares a picture of Kane Hemmings.
In the post, the official Rangers Twitter account shared an image of Kane Hemmings, after the centre-forward had scored his first competitive goal for the club against Queen’s Park at Hampden Park back in 2013.
In reaction, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the post, with many claiming that Hemmings was not given a fair chance to succeed at Rangers, while others have shared memories of the match in question.

It’s a huge memory, at that time my train from Manchester was going for the first time in my life to Glasgow

An example of a player that should’ve been used. The type of player. A lower league goal scorer who was young. Proved it in England after leaving us. However we decided to prioritise washed up veterans like Kyle and Sandaza…

What do we think?
While Rangers fans appear to have fond memories of Hemmings, it is a little difficult to see why, as the striker made just 10 appearances for the club, scoring one goal.
However, following his spell with Rangers, Hemmings has gone on to have some rather more successful spells in his career, scoring 14 goals in 39 games for Notts County, 15 goals in 54 for Oxford United, and 39 in 71 for his current club Dundee FC.
Despite his lack of appearances for the Gers, it is obvious that they still hold their former frontman in high regards, and many would seem to have happy memories of the goal in question.
