A lot of Rangers fans have responded to a tweet from The Guardian’s Ewan Murray about the current situation with the SPFL – which is trying to push through a resolution that could end the top four divisions in Scotland.
Murray claims that it is ‘genuinely astonishing’ that the SPFL have not withdrawn their resolution which has been dragged over the weekend following controversy over Dundee’s casting vote, ending the tweet by calling their decision ‘absolutely crackers’.
This has attracted the attention of these Rangers fans – some disagree with Murray and think that the SPFL will push through their resolution anyway.
Do you think Dundee will vote in favour of the SPFL's idea?
Yes
No
It’s genuinely astonishing the SPFL haven’t yet withdrawn “The Resolution.” Absolutely crackers ?

Not a chance. Pray Dundee change their vote and pretend the rest never happened.

They’ll persuade Dundee to change vote then hope all this will just disappear ?

Not really
Backing off would be seen as either an admission of guilt over the lies re: clubs receiving monies, or, an admission of incompetence in the vote itself
And they’ll admit to neither unless they’re forced to, which if they are, they’ll still try & slither out of anyway

Other Gers supporters are just outraged with the whole situation.
Nothing, and I mean nothing, is astonishing about the SPFL..

Couldn’t even post the correct results for league 1& 2 saying 3 teams voted no and rest were yes ! When 4 teams voted NO ! Falkirk , East Fife , Stranraer and Edinburgh City .

This stinks of incompetence at best and corruption at worst. Absolute disgrace.

What do we think?
This whole situation is a bit of a mess, and it looks like the deciding vote is down to Dundee, who originally voted but then told the SPFL to ignore their vote – leaving the whole plan in disarray from the SPFL’s point of view.
Judging by some of the replies to this tweet, some Rangers fans hope that Dundee will vote against the resolution and stop Celtic winning the title on a points-per-game basis.
The whole solution proposed by the SPFL is a mess, in our opinion, and we think they need to find a better idea to resolve the season than this.
