West Bromwich Albion centre-forward Charlie Austin has shared a photograph of himself posing in a Nike windbreaker jacket via his Twitter account. The 30-year-old, who joined the Baggies in August 2019, has featured in the Championship for Slaven Bilic’s side on 26 occasions so far this season.
He has contributed eight goals so far with his most recent coming back in January away at Cardiff City. The former QPR forward has also provided one assist as well as much experience to the promotion chasers. Here is how some of the Albion fans have responded to the striker’s post.

Has Charlie Austin been a good signing for the Baggies?
Yes
No
When do you think you will be back in training at the club, Charlie?
— Shaun Armsy (@Baggieboynico) April 27, 2020
What do we think?
Some of these fans were pleased to catch a glimpse of their forward whilst football remains suspended and others were curious in regards to when the team might return to training.
Austin is currently valued at £2.88m – almost £1m less than what the Baggies paid to bring him to the club from Southampton (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). Meanwhile, his average performance rating in the Championship this season currently stands at 6.52/10, according to WhoScored.com. Although this appears slightly underwhelming, his ability to score goals could prove key in the remainder of their campaign.
