Leeds United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest comments from Brighton & Hove Albion manager Graham Potter concerning Ben White.
This comes after football journalist Adam Pope shared a post on his Twitter page relaying the comments made by Potter in a recent interview on BBC Radio Sussex.
Potter claimed that he is aware of how well White has done whilst on loan at Leeds and the qualities the defender has.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans, who were eager to have their say on this development.
Here’s a sample of Leeds fans responding to the post:
Brighton head coach Graham Potter asked has he thought about how he is going to use Ben White next season – is he expecting him to be a big part of his plans?
“Yeah, obviously he’s been part of the discussion. We’re aware of how well he’s done & aware if his qualities.” (cont) pic.twitter.com/9H77FIYobg

I’d love him on a perminant but it’s not looking likely. If you ask me, anywhere but Manchester United

Brighton ain’t No Leeds and white knows that , in fact the whole of football world knows that if he was to return to Brighton then that is a step backwards no doubt #MoT #Lufc

Tell Mr Potter that he has been shocking for us this season and that there is no point recalling him back. We will take the punishment of keeping him at ER for the foreseeable future as it was our bad for taking him in on loan in the first place ? #lufc

Will Ben White be a Leeds player next season?
Yes
No
The defender has played every minute of Championship action for Marcelo Bielsa’s side so far this season during his loan spell at Elland Road from the Premier League side. Now that the Brighton boss has come out and revealed that he is keeping up to date with White’s progress at Leeds, this has sparked a big reaction from Leeds fans on Twitter.
My worry is that he’ll be playing for neither club. The lad is on a one way ticket to the top in my opinion, he’ll be England’s first choice centre half for years to come.

He will be a Leeds player by then ?

Yeah right, there is as much chance of him being at Brighton next season as there is of him being at Leeds.

What do we think?
Given how prominent White has been in Bielsa’s team so far this season, it’s understandable why it may not be only Potter keeping an eye on him, but also why some Leeds fans want him to stay at the club beyond his loan deal.
