A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to a tweet from James Marshment with two transfer updates for the Whites.
The TEAMtalk editor and lifelong Leeds fan put out a tweet with a story from the Daily Star and the Daily Express.
The tweet cites the Express, but the original report was from the Daily Mirror, and it claims that the Whites will try to push through the permanent £6m signing of Illan Meslier if they are promoted.
The story in the Star claims that Leeds will try and sign Middlesbrough defender Daniel Ayala in the summer.
Who would you prefer Leeds to sign?
Meslier
Ayala
This has drawn a reaction from many Leeds fans, though, more have focused on the Ayala story, and it seems they don’t want him.
Couple of transfer lines emerging for Leeds today….
-Leeds will likely push through the permanent £5m signing of Illan Meslier (Daily Express)
-Leeds set to secure free transfer signing of Daniel Ayala from Boro (Daily Star)— James Marshment (@marshyleeds) April 1, 2020

What do we think?
Leeds do have an option to buy Meslier, and the report from the Mirror claims that they have been ‘impressed‘ by the 20-year-old.
Ayala is an interesting one because he is out of contract at the Riverside in the summer and is expected to leave.
So, could the Whites make a move for the 29-year-old?
He is said to be keen to work with Marcelo Bielsa and, in his time with Boro, has established himself as one of the best defenders in the Championship. (According to gazettelive)
It will be interesting to see if the Whites make a move for Ayala in the summer.
