A group of Celtic supporters have been discussing Ronald de Boer’s recent comments regarding the Scottish Premiership title.
The Dutchman, who used to represent the club’s fierce rivals says Neil Lennon’s side ‘deserve’ to be handed the trophy in a recent interview with SunSport.
The now 49-year-old played his football in Scotland between January 2001 and July 2004 according to Transfermarkt.co.uk. However, he did go on to say that if the season cannot be completed, the Hoops “can only be winners, not champions.”
Here is how some of the Celtic faithful have reacted to the ex-professional’s remarks?
That’s him on the banned list

Should Celtic be named champions even if the season cannot be concluded?

What do we think?
These Celtic supporters believe the former Rangers star’s comments will upset the supporters of his former club. At the time of the league’s suspension, the Hoops were 13 points clear of their rivals and on course to win their ninth consecutive title. Not since the 2010/11 season have the Hoops been beaten to the coveted prize.
