Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been discussing the latest on the rumour that Loris Karius may be signing from Liverpool.
According to the Daily Star, the German goalkeeper has turned down a £7 million move to Molineux as he would like to be the first-choice stopper at his next destination (via Talking Wolves), which had fans relieved.

Would the signing of Loris Karius for £7 million have been a good one?No, would have been terribleYes, would be a decent backup |
According to the report, the 26-year-old is ‘surplus to requirements’ at Anfield and his career is at a ‘crossroads’ after his loan stint with Besiktas turned sour over unpaid wages.
The German has made 67 appearances for the Turkish club on loan, however, he has kept just 14 clean sheets and conceded 95 goals (per Transfermarkt), leaving Wolves fans convinced that they do not need him.
Prefer to keep John Ruddy been consummate professional since he arrived in summer 2017

What do we think?
According to the report from the Daily Star, the move to the Old Gold would have cost Wolves £7 million. However, for a player that is ‘surplus to requirements’ and has a market value of 2.88 million (per Transfermarkt), that seems over the odds.
With the move apparently off, though, it is clear to see from the reaction of Wolves fans that they are delighted Karius will not be working under Nuno Espirito Santo.
