Earlier this week it was reported that Ianis Hagi was interested in leaving Rangers in favour of a move to Lazio. La Lazio Siamo Noi broke this news, with the Daily Record sharing it with English readers.
However, since that news broke, reliable Rangers source Four Lads Had a Dream suggested that this was all made up. They reckon that the player is fully committed to a future at Ibrox, something that he and his agent have communicated to the club.
When the fan account shared this news on Twitter, there were one or two fans who admitted that they weren’t yet convinced of Hagi’s worth. Other think he would be wasted with Steven Gerrard as the manager.

Problem is Gerrard is brainless
No point in signing him
Unless we get a decent manager

His impact in this team will be dictated by Gerrards stubbornness to get away from a system that clearly doesn’t work and hinders guys like hagi

However, some of the supporters clearly think Hagi could be an important part of Rangers’ lineup going forward. They think he could play an important role in the winning team that Gerrard is trying to build.
This is it, imagine him and Kent once they have settled and got an understanding. We do however need a couple of players offering them protection on the pitch.

Hagi & Kamberi are the way forward.

Spot on mate….we have the chance to build a team around him but that means a change of shape….him as a 10 in a 4-2-3-1 with pace in front of him would let the kid flourish

Hagi is the type of player we should be building the team around. We should sign him but only if he’s played as a number 10.

Would you sign Ianis Hagi for £4 million right now?
Yes
No
What do we think?
Hagi is supposedly available for around £4 million. It is clear that a majority of the club’s fans are eager for the transfer to happen, and for the Romanian to become a central figure in the team’s evolving identity.
