Some Celtic fans have been raving at the latest video involving Tom Rogic that has gone viral on social media.

A Hoops-related page called CelticLisboa recently released a video on Twitter. It had Rogic scoring a goal for the club against Kilmarnock back in 2016. The Australian international had scored that goal from well outside the box.

On watching this video, many Hoops fans were left delighted. They had good things to say about the goal and the player.

Which club did Celtic sign Dembele from?

The game had taken place back in March 2016 and Rogic’s goal had come very late in the tie to win it for the Hoops. They won the game 1-0 and had taken their lead at the top of the table to four points over Aberdeen.

The 2015-16 season had seen Rogic, who is valued at £2.25 million (as per Transfermarkt), play 39 games in all competitions for the Hoops. He picked up ten goals in that campaign, also racking up seven assists for the club. In the Premiership, he had contributed to 15 goals.

What do we think?

The goal can be a reminder of how good Rogic can be on his day. Since the beginning of the 2016-17 season though, the midfielder has suffered four knee injuries and one ankle injury. As a result, he has missed 61 games for Celtic.

He has scored only three goals in all competitions this season and it shows that his output has reduced and that could be due to injuries. If not for them, there is a chance Celtic fans could have seen many more goals like the one he scored in the video.
