Tomorrow Rangers are set to face off against Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League tie. The two legs won’t be easy for the Gers, with the Bundesliga outfit being in great form. In their last nine games, Bayer Leverkusen have won eight and drawn just one.
However, the Gers were perhaps handed a slight boost when the German club announced that the second leg would be played behind closed doors. While this means there will be no Rangers fans in the stadium to cheer on the away team, Bayer Leverkusen won’t have the advantage of playing in front of a home crowd. As per Leverkusen’s tweet, there are no plans for the Ibrox leg to be played behind closed doors.
But while this news could hand Steven Gerrard’s side a slight boost, these Gers fans weren’t taking any chances. They are requesting that the German side pulls out of the competition altogether.
Fancy letting us win lads

A disgrace your even making our players and staff travel to your country with what’s going on there . Do the right thing and withdraw from the tournament

Other Gers fans admit that they won’t be deterred from making the trip over to German, regardless of whether the match will be open to the public. They will be travelling to support their team.
Any good Rangers pubs for a few thousand in Leverkusen ?

Will you still be travelling to Germany?
Yes
No
What do we think?
Hopefully, for the sake of Gerrard and his players, they can win the tie outright, without the help of an empty BayArena.
