After a snap of Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich pictured with a police officer was shared on Twitter, the image has sparked much debate amongst some of the club’s fans.
Given that the British government recently introduced a number of measures to try and slow the spread of the viral outbreak, many supporters took issue with the post and made their feelings known in the replies.

What do we think?
Judging by the responses, many were displeased by the image before they learned it was in fact taken a while back. Mateusz Klich has been Leeds United’s eighth-most consistent performer in the Championship this season with an average rating of 6.96/10 (via WhoScored.com).
The 29-year-old was signed from FC Twente in July 2017 for £1.53m before spending a period on loan with FC Utrecht in the Netherlands (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). Despite the initial outrage, these fans can now rest easy in the knowledge that the image above isn’t recent.
