A group of Leeds United supporters have been discussing Marcelo Bielsa and his former translator Salim Lamrani on Twitter after @barney___21 shared a video of the pair during a press conference on the social media platform. 

This particular clip will be remembered for Bielsa’s attempt at pronouncing “Ipswich” and here is what some of the club’s fans had to say about it.

With English football currently being suspended until April 30 at the earliest, based on the replies above, it’s clear this clip will have put a smile on the faces of these Leeds fans. Lamrani has since left the club but Marcelo Bielsa’s side were edging closer to securing promotion back to the Premier League prior to the viral outbreak.

The Whites currently sit top of the Championship, a point clear of West Bromwich Albion and seven clear of Fulham in third place. However, at present, it’s unclear as to whether or not football will continue after the 30th of April due to the severity of the viral outbreak. The Leeds United players and senior staff agreed to a wage deferral in order to cope with the financial impact this halt to the season is having.
