Leeds United have temporarily moved their academy and women’s teams away from their Thorp Arch training ground in order to protect Marcelo Bielsa’s first team from coronavirus (via the Daily Mail).
This was decided in order to reduce the risk of the players coming into contact with the virus as the Whites look to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League between now and the end of the season.
Have the club made the correct decision to keep the first-team away from the rest of the groups?
Yes
No
Following the news, here is how some of the fans have responded to the precautionary measures being taken by the club after information was relayed by Phil Hay on Twitter.
Doing everything to make sure this virus doesn’t disrupt our charge towards the PL.

The virus is over hyped but we can’t take any chances. Nothing can stand in the way of promotion.

Would not be surprised if the last games of the season gets cancelled if the uncontrolled spread continues.

What do we think?
It seems the club are unwilling to take any chances when it comes to the virus and this announcement comes just days after the supporters were advised not to celebrate any goals with physical contact. The victory over Huddersfield Town at the weekend saw the Whites move above West Bromwich Albion in the race for the title and therefore you can understand the club’s desire to take precautions and remain focussed despite the coronavirus issue.
