Marcelo Bielsa is being targeted by Real Betis in Spain, according to Phil Hay of The Athletic. The La Liga outfit are said to have drawn up a shortlist of candidates ‘should they opt to change manager’.
Leeds United currently occupy second place in the Championship and in our view, stand a great chance of securing automatic promotion to the Premier League with just 10 fixtures remaining. The Whites currently hold a five-point lead over Fulham in third place and are just a solitary point behind West Bromwich Albion, who lead the division.
Would you like to see Bielsa end his career at Elland Road?
Yes
No
In his article, Hay claims that Bielsa is close to achieving his ‘greatest feat in management’ and that ‘nothing will distract him’, but what have the fans made of the rumours linking the 64-year-old with a move to Spain?
He gets us promoted he stays, he doesn’t get us promoted he goes….pretty simple decision really

What do we think?
We cannot be sure of what the future will hold for Marcelo Bielsa or Leeds United, but regardless of what happens in the remainder of the season, we believe the former Argentina boss has done an excellent job at Elland Road. That is evidenced by his impressive record; he’s won 45 of his 82 Championship matches to date, averaging 1.84 points per game (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
