A group of Leeds United supporters have been discussing their former player Jordan Botaka on Twitter after a fan account posted a reminder that the 26-year-old once represented the Whites.
Here’s what some of the Elland Road faithful had to say regarding Botaka.
Class player tbh, better version of Sakai

Plays at my hometown club nowadays, Sint-Truiden in Belgian first division. Definately not good enough to get a spot in this Bielsa team. ??

What do we think?
Botaka signed for Leeds United in September 2015 from Excelsior in the Netherlands. The deal was reportedly worth £608k according to Transfermarkt.co.uk. The Congo international made just 14 appearances for the Whites before he left to join the Belgian club Sint-Truiden on a permanent deal in 2017.
He also had a spell on loan at Charlton Athletic for whom he made 29 appearances, scored two goals and provided two assists. Jordan Botaka is a right-winger by trade and since his move to the Jupiler Pro League, it appears he has found a home. He’s represented the club on 110 occasions, has contributed 18 goals and chipped in with 14 assists (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
Based on the above responses, it appears opinion on the former Club Brugge winger amongst the Leeds fans is somewhat mixed.
