Some Celtic fans have been talking about what team Neil Lennon could put out in the upcoming Old Firm derby at the weekend.
The Hoops travel to Ibrox at the weekend and a win against Rangers will take them 16 points clear the top of the table. The current lead stands at 13 points and a favourable result on Sunday could see them get closer to winning the Premiership title.
Which formation will Celtic use against Rangers?
Has to be 3-5-2
4-2-3-1
Celtic-related page ‘CelticNation’ posted about what the club’s team should be in the upcoming Old Firm clash. This got many Hoops fans talking.
I think Taylor will start, apart from that I think that will be the starting 11.

Elyounoussi is never a left wing back. Won’t do the defensive side. Ajer on left of the three scares living daylights out of me.

I think lenny will go with the team that started against St mirren at the weekend.,I would start jonny Hayes at wing back instead of Taylor but think lenny will stick with Taylor. ??

I think that midfield would get over run possibly. That’s where we lost the last game. Biton at the back. Ntcham plays in midfield and Taylor at wb. We can’t let Gers off the floor. Grind them into the mud.

Need Christie for his energy to unsettle them. 442 finish them off.

What do we think?
In 2020, Celtic are yet to lose a single Premiership game and they’ve used a 3-5-2 or a 3-4-1-2 shape in all but one game. It shows what has been working for the side in recent weeks and what could give them a higher chance of winning at the weekend.
They failed to beat Copenhagen in the Europa League by using a 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3 shape across both legs. That suggests Lennon should perhaps go with the 3-5-2 or 3-4-1-2 formation that is working. They can’t risk changing the formation in a big game.
