Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to praise club captain Jack Grealish for his latest Twitter post.
This comes after the Englishman shared a post on his official Twitter page quote-tweeting a post from BBC Sport announcing that Leicester City defender Ricardo Pereira will miss the rest of the season through injury.
The news also added that Pereira will be out of action after suffering an ACL injury after a tackle from Grealish in Villa’s 4-0 defeat to Brendan Rodgers’ side on Monday.
Should Grealish be punished for his tackle on Pereira?
Yes
No
In his post, Grealish wished the Leicester man a “speedy recovery” before adding that he is sure that Pereira will be back “better than ever” after his injury.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were quick to praise Grealish for his kind words towards Pereira.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to Grealish’s post:

What do we think?
It’s a great gesture from Grealish, who is valued at £34.2 million (as per Transfermarkt), to send his well-wishes to Pereira after it being his tackle that caused the Leicester man to damage his ACL. This shows what a great professional Grealish is and highlights the respect he has for his opponents. The hope for everyone involved now would be that Pereira successfully recovers from his injury quickly so he can get back to playing again.
