Some Celtic fans have been left talking by the recent club update involving Peter Lawwell’s latest comments.
The Hoops recently released a statement from Lawwell, who said that the club is ‘putting resources’ to help the most ‘vulnerable’ people in the society and an announcement about it will be made soon. He also said that the ‘season cannot be voided’ and the club wants to find a ‘reasonable’ solution to how to complete the Premiership season.
Do you have any qualms against Peter Lawwell?
No, he's done well
He's not good enough
The club’s Twitter account relayed this statement and it got many Celtic fans talking. They hailed the statement.
Well said HH

The Premiership was suspended last week in the wake of the recent pandemic outbreak. This had taken place before the Old Firm was to see Celtic take on Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday.
As things stand, Celtic are at the top of the Premiership and have a 13-point lead. The club has won the League Cup title and got knocked out of the Europa League at the hands of Copenhagen. They are already into the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.
What do we think?
Lawwell’s statement is fair and justified from Celtic’s perspective. The club’s 13-point lead should be enough to potentially hand them the Premiership title in the future and declaring the season void will not help Celtic.
