A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a tweet from the Evening Chronicle that has confirmed that Andy Carroll is back in training.
The Chronicle report that Carroll had returned to training before the league was suspended due to this viral outbreak.
The report claims that the 31-year-old might have been available for the Toon’s intended match with Manchester City in the FA Cup.

Steve Bruce told the Chronicle that Carroll had returned to training, and should the Premier League resume at the beginning of May (Suspended till 30th of April), he will be ready to play.

Carroll had not played for the Toon since he played for 28 minutes against Rochdale in a third-round replay that Newcastle won 4-1.
The former West Ham man had injured his hip while attempting to volley a ball in training.
However, it looks like the former Liverpool striker is ready to add to his 14 appearances this season when the league returns.
