Some Celtic fans have been left to mock a tweet that the Scottish Sun’s Twitter account sent out recently.
A Scottish Sun article claimed that there is ‘no specific provision in the SPFL rulebook’ if coronavirus cuts the Premiership season short.
Can the Premiership stop because of Coronavirus?
Not a chance
I have a feeling about it
They relayed this article on Twitter, which suggested that Celtic would not be guaranteed the Premiership title if the outbreak of coronavirus leads to the cancellation of sports events in Scotland. When Hoops fans read this, they could only laugh and mock the tweet.
Desperate much?

The Hoops are currently at the top of the Premiership and have a 12-point lead at the top over Rangers. Their season took a setback when they were knocked out of the Europa League at the hands of Copenhagen this past Thursday, though the Hoops already have the Scottish League Cup sewn up.
This past weekend, they beat St. Johnstone 1-0 away from home and face Aberdeen in the semi-finals of the competition, leaving another domestic treble within their grasp.
What do we think?
If the news is true, Celtic fans will hope that their side wins as many games as possible from now on to seal the Premiership title. With five games to be played before the Premiership split later in the season, they have to keep going and make sure that there is no room for falling short if anything happens.
