Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been reacting to a rumour which stated that Atletico Madrid may have an interest in poaching Nuno Espirito Santo.
According to The Sun, if Diego Simeone departs the La Liga side for Paris Saint-Germain, Wolves’ gaffer will become Atletico Madrid’s number one target (via Talking Wolves), which had some supporters in disbelief.

If Atletico Madrid did offer Nuno Espirito Santo the position of manager, would he take it?Yes, they're a massive club sadlyNo, he would remain loyal to us |
Under Nuno Santo’s guidance, the Molineux club finished as Championship winners in his first season before qualifying for the Europa League in his second term in charge (per Transfermarkt).
While some supporters had no belief in the rumour, others thought there was a little more truth in the story and some listed a potential heir to the Portuguese manager.
He will draw attention all the time as he is naturally gifted at game management. Thankfully he is also loyal and has a project he allways wanted and has the backing of fans and board alike. He’s going nowhere for a very long time.

What do we think?
With the 46-year-old Portuguese manager having overseen a meteoric rise with the Old Gold since his arrival at the club (per Transfermarkt), it would arguably be a huge blow if Nuno Santo was poached by another club.
And if the story is to be believed, and Atletico Madrid did come knocking for Wolves’ gaffer, then it may be a difficult task to tempt Nuno Santo to stay due to the paying power of the La Liga side (per The Sun).
