Some Birmingham City fans have been reacting to a recent post from the club’s official Twitter account which shares some training footage featuring Blues attacker Jeremie Bela.

The recent post from Birmingham City’s official Twitter account shares footage of Bela working out from home, possibly giving Blues fans a glimpse into the 26-year-old attacker’s current training regime during his time away from the pitch following the postponement of “the professional game in England” which was announced on Friday the 13th of March by efl.com.

The FA recently announced, via their official website, that professional football in England is set to be postponed “until no earlier than Thursday 30 April”.

In the absence of professional football, some Blues supporters have reacted positively to Bela’s recent training footage, sharing praise for the France-born attacker in response to the Blues’ recent post sharing the 26-year-old “working hard at home”. Read the reactions of some Birmingham City supporters to Bela’s recently released home training footage in the tweets below.

To kick off this quiz about the past week in the Championship, can you name which manager was announced as February's Championship Manager of the Month last week?

What do we think?

Bela joined Birmingham City on the seventh of November 2019 on a free transfer “following a contract row with his previous club”. It may be fair to say that Bela has delivered some impressive performances for the Blues since arriving at St.Andrew’s.

The 26-year-old attacker has made a total of five assists in his 21 Championship appearances for Birmingham thus far, according to WhoScored.com. This means that only one Blues player, Maxime Colin, has made more Championship assists than Bela this season, despite the 26-year-old only arriving at the club in November

Bela may be winning over some Birmingham City fans on the pitch this season, after delivering some impressive playmaking performances since joining the Blues.

It may be understandable why some Blues fans have reacted positively to the recent post from the club’s official account which shares Bela “working hard at home” in the current absence of professional football, as Bela’s home training footage may indicate that the 26-year-old attacker is preparing himself to be in top shape when he gets back to the pitch, which may be a positive sign for Blues fans considering his impressive assists record since joining the club.
