Despite there being no real football to watch right now, football fans from across the world will have the opportunity to watch their teams compete in Leyton Orient’s fundraiser FIFA tournament. The money will be used to help support EFL teams who are set to face financial struggles because of the recent lockdown of English football. Fans can donate to the cause here.

Sunderland are one of the teams who are set to be represented in the tournament.

Earlier in the week, Leyton Orient confirmed that the Black Cats would be playing Birmingham City during the first round of the competition.

Sunderland shared this news with their fans on their Twitter as well, claiming that they were set to be represented by @FUTWIZDan, a professional FIFA player for Team FUTWIZ.

Judging by the fan responses, supporters are ready to pull out their scarfs and cheer on their team again. They fully back the player to bring it home.
