Rangers host Braga this Thursday in the UEFA Europa League. The Portuguese outfit are undefeated in the Europa League this season.
They also won every game in the Taca de Liga this season and only lost one game of three in the Taca de Portugal. Of their 18 cup games this season, they have lost just one, and drawn just two.
Luckily for Rangers fans, the side were handed a massive boost ahead of Thursday night’s clash.
In this morning’s press conference Steven Gerrard announced that Borna Barisic had played a majority of yesterday’s training session and was available for selection against Braga.
The Croatian left-back has missed the Gers’ last two league matches.
Rangers have been heavily reliant on Barisic this year. The full-back is the side’s top provider of assists, registering 14 in 33 games. Right-back James Tavernier has 13 assists in 39 games this season.
When Rangers tweeted that Barisic was available for selection, the fans were thrilled.
