A lot of Rangers supporters are fuming at Connor Goldson after the Gers were beaten 2-1 by Kilmarnock at Rugby Park to leave them ten points behind Celtic.
Steven Gerrard’s side took the lead in the first half through Scott Arfield before Killie equalised thanks to Stephen O’Donnell, and then the win was sealed when Eamonn Brophy brushed off the attentions of Goldson and then fired the ball past Allan McGregor.
Should Goldson be dropped by Rangers?
Yes, that was pathetic defending
No, give him time
This piece of defending from Goldson particularly annoyed these Rangers fans.
The ref is shocking but that was abysmal. Connor Goldson had an absolute shocker.

I hate Connor Goldson. Cannot for the life of me see anything about him that warrants his inclusion in that team every game.

Hellander, Katic, Edmuson, chopped and changed constantly! How does Goldson never get dropped?? He is a bomb scare at times

Conor Goldson has never passed a ball forwards in his entire life, & tonight proved he can’t defend either. Yet he’s the first name on the manager’s team sheet every week? We need better.

What do we think?
The 27-year-old, who is valued at £4.5m by Transfermarkt, probably could have done more to stop Brophy.
According to The 4th Official, Goldson had a solid game until this crucial moment where he allowed Brophy to get past him too easily.
The Gers now have some serious ground to make up on Celtic if they are to win the SPFL this season after the Bhoys won 5-0 over Hearts.
