Spurs fans were treated to some footage of former player Rafael van der Vaart nutmegging Jack Wilshere in a North London derby on Twitter this week.
Perhaps in celebration of the Dutchman’s birthday, COYS.com posted a video of him putting the ball through Wilshere’s legs twice in quick succession. The 37-year-old made 77 appearances for the North London club; scoring 28 goals and contributing 18 assists before he made the move to Hamburg in 2012.
Spurs fans enjoyed the footage of the former Lilywhites man embarrassing Wilshere, who himself has demonstrated his dislike of the North London club for the time he spent at Arsenal, where he made 198 appearances for the club before injury issues led to him leaving the club and joining West Ham.
Is van de Vaart a Spurs legend?

Reaction from Spurs fans to the video of Van der Vaart can be seen in the tweets below.
As a Yank who only came to love Tottenham circa 2006-7, Wilshere was the first player who made me truly hate Arsenal.

Hes what arsenal fans thought jack was. Rafa was the best midfielder in the PL while he was here.

These Spurs fans clearly enjoyed the video of Van der Vaart nutmegging Wilshere twice.
What do we think?
The Dutchman is fondly remembered by Spurs fans for his time at the club, perhaps most for his performances in the 2011/12 season, where he contributed 11 goals and seven assists in the Premier League, averaging an impressive 7.21 rating.
