Fans of QPR have been reacting to a post by Yoann Barbet, in which the 26-year-old discusses the Hoops’ 2-1 victory over Derby County on Tuesday night.
Barbet, who arrived at the club from Brentford last July, has made 16 Championship appearances for QPR fo far this season, averaging a 6.64 WhoScored match rating.
However, despite an uninspiring average match rating, the former French U18 international has been influential in QPR’s recent dramatic upturn in form.
Since his return to the side four matches ago, QPR have picked up eight points, kept two clean sheets and have not suffered a loss, with the Frenchman averaging a much more impressive 7.10 WhoScored match rating over the four fixtures.
During the Hoops’ latest victory over Derby County, Barbet was once again one of their top performers, making four interceptions, four clearances, winning three duels and one tackle, as well as successfully completing 84% of his 55 passes.
Following the match, the 26-year-old took to Twitter stating his joy at his side’s performance, with many QPR fans sharing Barbet’s elation.

What do we think?
The outlook for Mark Warburton will certainly be brighter following QPR’s sequence of good results.
Prior to QPR’s last four games, the West London side sat in a dangerous 17th place in the Championship table, just nine points above the relegation zone.
However, following their recent run, the Hoops have shot up to 12th place, and now find themselves closer to sixth-placed Preston North End than Wigan Athletic, who occupy 22nd.
