Supporters of Everton have been discussing Gabriel Magalhaes, who has been linked with a transfer move to the Toffees recently.
According to Le 10 Sport, Everton and Arsenal were interested in the 22-year-old’s services over January with ‘a good chance’ bids will be made in the summer. After a video was shared with fans on social media (via El Pivote), originally posted by BN, fans discussed the defender.
For some reason English Press call him Gabriel Dos Santos but this is his actual name. @Everton are heavily linked https://t.co/Va45OX7l0r

Looks ideal for what we need I’m assuming he’d be playing alongside Mina, but what happens to Holgate? Defensive Mid perhaps?

Looks like a quick thinking defender. Looks for those deadly forward passes too, love it

Would you like to see Gabriel Magalhaes signed by Carlo Ancelotti?Yes, he looks a fantastic prospectNo, seems a bit overrated to me |
To add further fuel to the transfer rumour fire, in one of his recent interviews, the defender told Telefoot that he would “love” to play in the Premier League, although there are no confirmed certainties where his future lies (via HITC).
The 22-year-old Brazilian has featured in 32 games in all competitions so far this term for LOSC Lille, during which he has scored one goal (per Transfermarkt), though, fans were keen on his signing after viewing the footage.
Be excellent this. Some suggestions it may be further down the line than we think…….brands trying to get in early me thinks

What do we think?
Across the Champions League and Ligue 1 so far this season, the defender has a respectable average rating of 6.83/10 (per WhoScored).
However, while his average rating is good but not stellar, Everton supporters seem absolutely certain that they would like to see the Brazilian sign on the dotted line at Goodison Park.
