Some West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to share their displeased reactions to footage of Kamil Grosicki’s ‘waste’ of a goalscoring opportunity from Tuesday’s Championship game versus Preston North End.
West Brom-focused Twitter account @wbalatest posted footage of an impressive bit of dribbling skill produced by winger Grosicki in their 2-0 Championship win over Preston this past Tuesday evening.
The footage, which the Twitter account sent out with the words “cheeky meg”, shows Grosicki swiftly knocking the ball through the legs of Preston’s Alan Browne and subsequently carrying the ball into the opposition box. However, as the footage moves on past the impressive dribble, we see Grosicki ultimately squander the potential goalscoring chance once inside the penalty area.
Some West Brom supporters were critical of Grosicki’s failure to convert this goalscoring chance in response to the tweet from @wbalatest, despite the impressive display of dribbling ability at the beginning of the clip that started the move. Read the critical replies of some West Brom fans to Grosicki’s squandered chance in the tweets below.

Great move. Pity He didn’t hit the ball into the goal when he had a chance.

What do we think?
Grosicki has shown the ability to score goals in the Championship this season. The Polish international bagged six goals in 28 Championship appearances for former club Hull City this season. However, he is yet to score his first goal for the Baggies since joining the club in the January transfer window.
The 31-year-old winger did squander a good chance in Tuesday’s game, however, with only five substitute appearances and 76 minutes of game time under his belt thus far for West Brom, it may just be a matter of time before he opens his goalscoring account for the Baggies should he continue to create chances like the one he did versus Preston.
