Leeds United defender Nohan Kenneh has been named in England’s Under-17s squad ahead of their upcoming fixtures versus Russia and Ukraine.
England’s youngsters will travel to Spain to play the two games as they prepare for the Under-17 European Championship qualifiers which will take place in March.
Does Nohan Kenneh deserve an opportunity in the first-team?
Yes
No
Kenneh is making quite the name for himself at Elland Road having broken into Carlos Corberan’s Under-23 side and having featured for the club’s Under-18s in the FA Youth Cup (as per the club’s official website).
It appears some of these Leeds United fans would like to see the Liberian-born defender given an opportunity in Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team setup.
This guy should be in and around the first team.

What do we think?
It may be a little early to throw the 17-year-old defender into the first team right now, but it certainly seems he is making progress and showing all the signs that he could, one day, marshal the Whites’ defence.
His upcoming trip with the England Under-17s will be a great experience and provide Nohan Kenneh with the opportunity to showcase his talents on the international stage.
