Leeds United take on fourth-placed Nottingham Forest at the City Ground this weekend in what could prove a vital clash as a number of clubs look to close in on Marcelo Bielsa’s side and West Bromwich Albion, who currently occupy the automatic promotion places in the Championship.
The Whites lost their last league game against Wigan Athletic at Elland Road which has somewhat loosened their grip on a place in the top two and the Yorkshire-based club will no doubt be keen to put that right.
Should Casilla start versus Nottingham Forest on Saturday?
Yes
No
However, Bielsa faces a number of big decisions regarding his team selection, one of which is in regards to his goalkeeper. Will he drop Kiko Casilla or continue to select the Spaniard? Here’s what some of the supporters think.
Mesiler should have been in since arsenal

Anyone but Casilla

I’d try Meslier to give Kiko a break. Mind, the goal was freakish, and I saw worse goalie errors over the weekend!
I also wonder if putting Roberts up top might help. He’s perfect for us. His middle name is D’Whyte.— 1919 – Bielsa (@aclr1972) February 4, 2020
Drop Kiko the clown. Tries to make everything he dies look spectacular.

Time to drop Kiko I’m afraid, he’s literally been at fault for about 12 goals so far.

Would drop Kiko thought he cost us the playoff game last season and has not improved . He distribution is good but he has such a poor shot stopping record that is negated . Very poor signing and high wages which could have gone elsewhere . Just think he is a weak link.

What do we think?
Kiko Casilla, who is valued at £2.7 million (as per Transfermarkt), has started all 30 of Leeds United’s league fixtures so far this season, keeping 12 clean sheets along the way and perhaps more impressively, playing every single minute of their Championship campaign.
The Spaniard has come in for some criticism in the aftermath of the Wigan defeat, but the general consensus amongst these supporters is that he will retain his place for this weekend’s fixture.
