A lot of Leeds United fans have reacted to Andrea Radrizzani after the Leeds owner sent out two tweets following the Whites’ defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Radrizzani decided that after watching his team lose to Forest that he would release a tweet claiming how frustrated he was with some of the supporters.
Should Radrizzani have tweeted?
Yes, he needs to show that he cares
No, what a stupid idea
The Italian asked how you cannot support a team that have reached achieved their best results of the last 16 years by being in the top three since August 2018.
It is fair to say that this tweet has not gone down well with many Leeds fans who feel Radrizzani is wrong to be tweeting so soon after a damaging defeat.
ONE thing frustrate me more then any defeat.I have been like a fan like you, travelling and supporting my team since I was a student and no money. How can’t you support a team/club that have reached the best result of last 16 years!! being always in top 3 since Aug 2018. Nite??

We support the club, we don’t support YOU! Your ego is ridiculous. You’ve sold our best players, not backed the best manager we’ve had in years, instead you cut corners, use loan signings and expect it to paper over the cracks. We had an 11pt lead and we’ve blown it. It’s on you.

We will always support the team, but we have had to go through years and years of disappointment and missed opportunities
We are fans, we care. We have suffered for long enough. It’s normal for us to be frustrated.

I understand your frustration @andrearadri but please understand how we, the money paying, time expending, mugs feel. I will be sixty this year. I have been following #lufc home and away for 45 yrs. We are once again staring at heart wrenching disappointment square in the face.

It’s just frustrating Andrea, we become a laughing stock every season. We are one of the most laughed at teams nearly every season. Are you surprised by the negativity from our fans? Because I’m not. MOT ??

Wow. Another silly comment. Either abstain from social media or say something constructive. You’re dividing us further.

Surely you must understand the frustration. It’s plain for everyone to see where and why we are struggling…….keep banging your head against the same brick wall and guess what!!! You always end up with the same result!!!

No no no no no no!!!! Please Andrea stop tweeting!! The fans have turned incredibly over the past 4 week, this will only fuel negativity, only way this pressure stops is silence and winning games. (Or tell everyone how the club will be fine regardless of league next season)

What do we think?
Leeds were beaten 2-0 by Forest to make it four defeats from their last five league games, and they have failed to score in all of those defeats.
The chasing pack have now closed in with Fulham now only behind Leeds on goal difference and Forest a point behind while Brentford are only two points behind Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
The Whites are in a funk, and Radrizzani tweeting things like this is probably not going to help the situation.
The Leeds owner should have resisted the urge to tweet as it has led to an angry reaction from many Whites fans.
