A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to Phil Hay’s tweet from Marcelo Bielsa’s press conference.
The Argentine has confirmed that Kiko Casilla will start in goal for the Whites’ game with Bristol City.
Are you pleased with Bielsa's decision to play Casilla again?
Yes, he can turn this around
No, he has to be dropped
This has annoyed and angered many Leeds fans who cannot believe that Bielsa has decided to play Casilla again.
Bielsa on whether he will make changes against Bristol City, Casilla especially: "Casilla is going to play. And Bamford as well." #lufc

First time I’ve ever doubted Bielsa is over this blind, unwavering, hard to justify loyalty to his underperforming & costly GK

No justification for playing Casilla, ridiculous decision. Can only hope the FA ban the clown.

Beggars belief
Why have a squad of 18, the man wants a squad of 11 and the 23’s
Meslier will be off in the summer
There’s backing your player when they have a bad game but Kiko has cost us last season and is given a goal a game away this time
Madness #lufc— N (@N65590035N) February 13, 2020
Decisions get worse. Let Meslier have a try give Casilla a rest lmao we ain’t going up. Playoffs and losing again is my bet.

Absolute idiocy – the man is stubborn for the sake of it

You hate to see it

This ? in goal will cost us promotion again. Unbelievable stubbornness from Bielsa

What do we think?
Bielsa said that because Casilla has not lost the confidence of the team or in himself, then he cannot be dropped even if he likes Illan Meslier.
This is an admirable stance, but since the Whites drew 3-3 with Cardiff City, Casilla has a save percentage of only 47.7% and has made five errors that have led to goals.
The latest on Tuesday against Brentford was appalling as he let a simple pass from Liam Cooper run under his foot (0:45), and there was Said Benrahma to tap the ball in.
The suggestion that Casilla will play again after this error could be seen as a strange decision by Bielsa, and it remains to be seen how the 33-year-old does on Saturday.
