Some Celtic fans have blasted Charlie Nicholas for his recent comments about the club’s Europa League clash against Copenhagen.
In his predictions column for Sky Sports, Nicholas predicted that Copenhagen will hold Celtic to a 1-1 draw on Thursday in the first leg of their round-of-32 tie in the Europa League. He talked about the club’s ‘vulnerability away from home in Europe’.
Do you agree with Charlie Nicholas' prediction?
Yes, it will be a stiff game
No, Nicholas is a dud
This prediction left many Celtic fans fuming and they couldn’t help but rage at Nicholas for what he had to say about the upcoming tie.
Got to appease the paymasters in case he doesn’t get another contracts

Charlie Nicholas’ logical thinking stopped when he went from Celtic to Arsenal.

He never got a gig at Celtic Park after he retired, a bitter man.

It’s the basis of keeping his gig at sky sports I think

The Hoops finished top of their Europa League group earlier in the season. They had Lazio, Cluj and Rennes in their group and Cluj were the only side to defeat Celtic, in the final group stage match.
The Hoops will face Copenhagen away from home in the first leg, followed by a home game against Kilmarnock in the Premiership before the second leg takes place next Thursday.
What do we think?
Celtic have lost just one away game in the Europa League, while in the Premiership, they’ve lost one game away from home and drawing only once. It shows that Nicholas’ comments about the club’s away form aren’t that justified and Celtic fans are right to give him slack for it even though his prediction might come true.
