When the EFL announced their latest Team of the Week selection, Birmingham City fans were pleasantly surprised to see Kristian Pedersen’s name included in the starting eleven. The left-back was the only Birmingham City player to make the team. He was joined by Wayne Rooney, who was one of two Derby players to be included.
Birmingham City shared the news of Pedersen’s inclusion with the fans via Twitter. This had many supporters praising the player’s overall contributions throughout the season, with some saying that he has been stable for a while. They want to make sure the club keep hold of him at all costs, while there were calls for him to be rewarded with a new contract.
This why we must keep hold of pedersen consistency throughout the season an outstanding defender ???

Best left back in the league – though what on earth he was doing ‘meandering’ in their six yard box when he toe poked his ‘Thunderbolt’ in Saturday last …. only he will know …

Is Kristian Pedersen the best left-back in the league?
Yes
No
One fan questions how the player made the team though. They think he was culpable for Nottingham Forrest’s first goal, warranting his exclusion from the accolade.
They must not have seen forests first goal where he was more pedestrian rather than pedersen

What do we think?
Either way, Birmingham City fans will be happy to see one of their players making the Team of the Week. If the player can continue to perform, then hopefully he can play a big part in keeping the team in the Championship and avoiding a costly relegation.
