These West Brom fans discuss Dwight Gayle after recent developments coming from Newcastle United.
According to a report from the Telegraph: “Newcastle are offering Dwight Gayle to Championship clubs on a “free” loan, but will demand a huge £20million fee on promotion.” The report also states that “Gayle is a target for a number of promotion chasers including West Brom.”
However, when the alleged fee was relayed to these West Brom fans via WBA Report, it seems to have killed any interest from the Baggies supporters.
Here’s what the West Brom fans had to say about Gayle and his alleged valuation on Twitter:

The Magpies also want any club that takes him to pay his £60K-per-week wages in full.

Would you be happy if Dwight Gayle joined West Brom on loan?
Yes, he's amazing!
No, he's overrated!
The alleged “£20 million fee” seems to be a lot of money for a player who hasn’t scored in the Premier League this season, despite playing nine matches for Newcastle.
It’s very clear to see these fans have been put off with the alleged valuation on their former player, which is a loss to both the Baggies and Gayle.

Rotten deal. Just buying him would be better.

If they think he is worth that then why are they not playing him?

What Do We Think?
The alleged fee Newcastle would want is crazy to expect a Championship side to be happy with, and it would not be a surprise if most Premier League clubs were likely to avoid this deal as well.
There’s no doubt that Gayle would be a success for West Brom, with the Englishman having already scoring 24 goals for the club. However, we can’t see a deal happening on the terms the Telegraph reported.
