This week Rangers Youth Academy announced that Zak Rudden had been sold to Partick Thistle for an undisclosed fee. The club has retained options for the striker in the future, but are happy to let Rudden leave for now. The 19-year-old came through the ranks of the Rangers academy and enjoyed loan spells at Falkirk and Plymouth Argyle before the Gers decided to move the player on.
When the academy announced the news on Twitter, fans were supportive of the player. They want nothing more than to see the player succeed in the future. Here is a collection of fans wishing Rudden the best of luck.
All the best Zak!

Do you think Zak Rudden will succeed at Partick Thistle?
Yes
No
Others hope that they don’t regret the move in the future. They still believe Rudden has a lot of potential and they don’t want to miss out on his talents if he does end up making a breakthrough at Partick Thistle.
good luck, i hope this is not one of those ones we end up regretting

What do we think?
As mentioned above, Rangers claimed that they have ‘retained options’ for the player in the future, despite that information not appearing on the academy’s tweet. What those options include is unknown.
Hopefully, though, Rangers fans will find themselves in a position where they don’t miss the striker. Not because of him performing poorly, but because of how well they are doing without him.
