What do we think?
If Liverpool are going to break their record transfer number to secure Havertz’s signature in summer, they would be paying over £76.19 million, the fee the club paid for current record signing Virgil van Dijk (per TransferMarkt).
Given Havertz’s underwhelming goals and assists record so far this season, it would perhaps be seen as a risk to pay so much, but the potential is definitely there. Whether the transfer does happen or not will be decided in the upcoming summer transfer window at the end of the season.
